After
serving nine years in the United States Air Force, Phil joined
the Keyes Company. Soon thereafter, he began an ambitious
real estate career that has spanned more than three decades.
He obtained his Broker’s license in his first year and
then went into management. Phil has managed nine different
offices for The Keyes Company. As a Manager, he would open
a new office, or bring a fledgling office up to top production.
He would then move on to his next management assignment. During
these years, Phil was consistently a multi-million dollar
producer. His sales experience has ranged from selling residential
homes, acreage, business opportunities, to oceanfront Hotels
and Motels all along the Florida coast.
Throughout these growth years, Phil always wanted more. Realizing
the incredible potential for recruiting newly licensed salespeople,
Phil created the Keyes License Exam School in the mid 1970’s.
Not only did Phil direct the staff of instructors teaching
Principles and Practices, he also became a licensed instructor
as well.
Still a member of “Toastmasters International”
since his tour in the Air Force, Phil began to realize that
his destiny was not in sales, but rather in helping others
achieve the success, he now knew was possible. Within a short
period of time, Phil was promoted to the position of Director
of Training for the entire Keyes Company. With more than 30
offices in Florida and 1,700 sales associates, Phil dedicated
himself to this challenge for the next two decades.
Almost immediately in his new position, Phil created a training
program that he named “Fast Track to Success.”
The “Fast Track to Success” program became the
mainstay of the Keyes Training Department for more than twenty
years. This intensive hands-on training program soon became
a model for the real estate industry.
Today, more than three decades later, Phil is still a visionary.
Together with his wife Sherry, who is the Director of Career
Development for The Keyes Company, Phil has taken the Keyes
Training Department to a new level. On January 5th, 2004,
Phil and Sherry brought forth the next generation of real
estate training…”Sudden Success,” “Accelerated
Success” and “Foundation to Success.” These
innovative programs are a revolutionary step forward, which
will insure a new associate’s ability to become a top
producer.
Phil is a high-energy speaker, with the ability to weave
rapidly though complex subject matter in an informational
and entertaining manner. His enthusiasm is contagious. His
messages are always optimistic and he has the ability to intermingle
interesting statistics with thought provoking ideas.
